This gentleman used to be in media all the time .. Would anyone know if he is still in the real estate business,or just walked away and locked the door inside his collection of rare books ..

He sold his training/real estate format business and lives on his farm.

Still posts on twitter. Don't agree with everything he says but you don't hear of anyone being vocal against the industry now.

I talked to him once when he would post on the other site,he had a very keen interest in rare books that would have gone up in value over the years it would be good to retire on a farm reading old books..thanks again..

He still licences agents who use his methods.

I have both bought and sold properties through different 'Jenman Approved Agents' and been very happy with the way things went.

I recently bought a property. I noticed on some of their posters was the logo, "Jenman Approved".

I avoid Jenman agents. No address listed. Have to call and engage before you even know where the house is. Annoying!

Not sure what the story is there. From my understanding the agency training & "system" is now handled through the Pittard Training Group.

That actually wasn't my experience dealing with this agent (across two purchases in the last 8 months). I know what you're talking about, I read all about the Jenman process years ago when it was heavily discussed.

In this case though, from a buyers perspective I had no indication of it other than the logo on a poster.

Before I posted, I googled the agency I know well, and they have no addresses listed on their properties.

Perhaps this is up to the individual agency?

Off topic (sorry Geoff) - but I also hate it when there is no price or address. When looking at 100's, how do I know I'm remotely interested without those details and I haven't got time to ring them. Sorry but they do without my business.

I even get annoyed at auctions that don't have an advertised guide

Same. If they do not state address or price I scroll on by.

Think of that as an opportunity.

If you pass them up chances are much of the market would as well and you may be able to buy at a good price.

I always think if agents are not prepared to put an address or price, they are trying to hide something.
