I think she'd make a great Vice Pres ... be interesting to see who comes out for the top job as Beto and Kennedy aren't ready this time around.

As for identifying with ancestry ... I come from Viking blood (obvious to those who know me) but don't think it would fly as a tick-the-box option in Australia

Newly elected Dem majority Congress (lower house) is sworn in tomorrow - 3rd Jan - feeling a little excited but will be patient as they sift through the mountains of information

There's one story that Joe Biden has been setting his ducks up in a row, to be ready just in case he should take a tilt at the presidency.

Mitt Romney attached Trump pretty hard. I don't know if he is seeking to be a Trump alternative.
Romney says Trump causes global dismay
I'd find his ethics a refreshing change.

I don't really think that the US is ready for a woman candidate, at least not against Trump.

Agreed - I think we need another two male Pres's in between - with the second having a female Vice

Just FYI - I think political threads with a fairly vaguely defined topic are generally going to cause more trouble than they are worth, so I'm closing this one. Feel free to start new threads which deal with a much more specific topic.
