    I think its takes a brave man to admit where you are most weakest psychologically.
    Are you brave enough to admit where your weak and if you have tried to address it?

    The thing is can it be "fixed" or changed so u can better yourself ?

    I have come to the realisation unfortunately that when im not resilient, in other words "something or someone" gets me down emotionally by their actions that I tend to keep thinking about the same thing for days until i get over it., not sure of the word to describe it , "ruminating" or lingering perhaps? Where most people would get over it I keep thinking about it , so thats a weakness I must overcome , maybe its as simple as not being busy enough ? But.... it can affect my life and moving forward , can it be fixed ? Probaly not ,but i guess training my mind in resilience can help .and training my mind to move forward rather lingering over something that has passed.

    Sometimes i see people in road rage each morning shouting at each other , if you were to ask these people if they had any weakness these would be the type who would say no but there is clearly anger issues there ., anger and impatience , i wonder how that affects their lifes?

    What about those you see in big cities who cant cope with crowds ?
    I was in getting into one of our citys crowded buses recently when i seen a girl wearing a "Greens party" badge become very anxious and shout there' too many people and physically push everyone away to get past them to the exit.
    She couldnt cope with a lot of people around her.:eek:

    Jealousy would be hard to admit , imagine being jealous of other people ,?
    I do know someone like this in my wirkplace who watches other staff take longer lunch breaks and then demands he take the same time .
    He goes around telling other staff (with steam coming out of his head) " I noticed Raylene had a extra 10 minutes lunch break and im demanding the same !!!:mad:

    Are you indentifying your weakness"s or are you a denier that you have any?

    I argue with known trolls on forums. It is pointless but it bothers me that they post things where it is easy to demonstrate that they are wrong. Even that is pointless because they just find some way to twist it. They are not on forums to make any particular point, just antagonise the regulars, troll them, hi-jack discussions and generally make life difficult. Then why can't I stop replying to them. It is a weakness.

    I, for one, appreciate your efforts in this area. At the very least, it's entertaining!

    I go by the following:
    If I have a serious flaw I will look to address or mitigate it (fix the weakness)
    Otherwise I only focus on growing my existing strenths. Nurture your personal competitive advantage so to speak.
    I don't waste time on things I'm never going to be brilliant at. As long as I've addressed them and realised they are a weakness, move one, delegate to someone else.

    Some People’s victim stuff is so strong it will suck you in.
    Ignoring them is the only way, they are addicted to drama and will seek it continuously.
    Make your headspace too expensive for them to live there. Raise the rent so that cheap people can’t get in

    There is a poem from a long time ago when the world was a different place by Rudyard Kipling called ÏF",you could always print up several copies free at work and leave one copy at each person desk prior to hitting the coal face..

    If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
    If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
    If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
    And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
    If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
    And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
    If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
    If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
    If you can fill the unforgiving minute
    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
    Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son..

    Yes, yes it is.

    Admitting you have a problem is the first step though!

    Think of it like wild animals - you aren't supposed to feed them, because your food is likely bad for them and they become dependent on you. Similarly with trolls - feeding them is bad for them and makes them dependent on you - the more you feed them, the more they rely on you to continue to feed them. Don't feed the trolls - let them run wild and free in their natural habitat.

    My problem is that they are adept at creating the illusion they actually have something interesting to say. But when pressed they have nothing. By the time I find out actually they have nothing to say, it is too late and I have been well and truly trolled :oops:

    I won't. I have engaged a number of times and you have seen how it end. They never say anything of substance. Besides, if a member has something real to say, there is nothing stopping them from just posting the information. There is no requirement to troll someone first. The rest of us post stuff all the time without trolling other posters first.

    I hate talking to people. I can't sell myself. These two are essentially career limiting weakness.

    I recently had a massive relapse into my pre property chat days. Personal finance, budgets and money management were not my thing a few years ago, that all got on track and was going well until recently.

    On the tail end of a 9 week holiday from work, had a few friends come to visit, went on a mini holiday and had a lot of spare time. Long story short spent about 4-5x then I planned for.

    This just made me remember and appreciate my previous (and still ongoing I suppose) biggest weakness - spending large and going a bit nuts on partying and booze. I thought I had the extravagance under control until the last couple of weeks.

    The haze is clearing as I update my spreadsheets and reality sets in. :eek::eek::eek:

    At least you are keeping an eye on things (spreadsheets).
    Not totally losing it, just need a bit more control.
    Im gonna go out on a limb and put you at younger than 35yrs, so it will come, eventually.

    Gotta live too remember. Life is short.

    My weakness.....beer!
    Don't touch any other alcoholic drink. Just love a good, cold as ice beer at the end of the day which is usually a hard days work physically.

    I guess I can also state that Im a sucker for engaging, and therefore arguing, with people who appear to be at total odds with my thinking.

    Sorry.

    You are obviously talking about me.

    On serious note, if I’m perfect at everything It’s gonna be boring.
    I deny my weakness until I’m ready to focus on what I’m going to do about it.
