What are your investment strategies in Syd & Melb booming markets?

    1. Keep cash and waiting until market correction
    2. Invest in other cities i.e Brisbane, Adelaide
    3. Invest in other assets i.e commercial properties, shares

Looking for first IP in Melbourne. Still not comfortable with the idea of not being able to see/touch my IP.

Melbourne would be my only pick in Aus market regardless of where I was living.

I still think areas of Melbourne are undervalued so wouldn't be hanging around for a price crash or spending similar $s in cheaper cities with a much longer term view in the hope they'll boom today anyway.

I'd love to hear more about this. I always though I had missed the US opportunity.

What sort of dollars are you investing in home there now and what returns do you achieve?

What exchange rates do you achieve?

Do you use a BA and buy site unseen?

Just buy in other states, other markets, other suburbs that are 7-9 o'clock and offer some good value/deals/buy in prices whatever your strategy is. That's all I've ever been doing.

Look forward to it. I was not financial to do this 3 years ago when I thought it was a great idea.

    Why?
In hindsight it is one of the best decisions I made. With the right professionals in place it can take away the "self talk" that comes when you see a property. I wouldn't have bought the 2 properties I did with my tolerance level at the time.
