Dropped a couple of pretty pennies at a major artisan cheese producer in Marrickville the other day and just enjoying our purchases.

A gorgeous 1kg of fresh fiore di latte (soft mozzarella) lasted a couple of pizzas and countless slices.

Nibbling on a Trinity Cellars Goats Curd on crackers with plump blueberries. Not our usual combo for a goats curd but sooooo good. Usually accompanied with a chilled Australian Brut but no need in this combination. The blueberries cut through the tartness of the soft white curd.

What interesting purchases sod you make for the holidays?

1L of the best ice cream going around. I usually avoid sugar like the plague but we headed down to the Palm Cove Esplanade on Christmas night for dinner and dessert. Got as many flavours as they could squeeze into the container and devoured the whole lot when we got home :D
