In these days of gender equality, I am surprised there are not more ads as to what women should buy for their men! (Or other women for that matter, or men for men, or ..........)

I think i will surprise Sam (sung) and buy her a new battery . I know she needs one as she has not been herself for a long time. In fact it rather sad when i first meet her she had so much live , could do things all day. Now she is worn out after an hour . I was going to replace her but she has been so loyal to to me for many years.
Taking all my calls (and some of these tenants have been pretty horrible to her) , finding deals , making calls to organise finance etc
So that is what I am buying her !
( I wake up next to my phone )

Usually she wakes me up with a cheerful alarm or a incoming call

Unfortunately, we have a long way to go before we reach gender equality .

I'm surprised she's still with you, after the number of times you've sworn at her.

I decided that no one should have to cook af home today , so I suggested we go out for dinner and reserved a table at a long forgotten favorite place.
So there we were, along with the two boys and our granddaughter, then the daughter (mummy) shows up, and shortly after so does her boyfriend......
    Romantic ????? o_O
The daughter and boyfriend argued, our granddaughter cried and the boys laughed
I was left holding the baby and paying the bill
    Valentine's day :eek::eek::eek:
Am going to pass next year :p

We are getting a new daughter in a couple of weeks! It will be the same weekend as our anniversary - 38 years. We did something right.

Mr Angel is getting Michael Moseley's book about gut bacteria recipes - great idea I read here last week.

I got my missus the same thing I get her every year for not only VDay but also XMas, Anniversary and her BDay.

    Nothing.

I don't need specific days to tell her I love her, I tell her every day and if either of us wants anything, we just buy it, anything we chose for each other would probably not really be what we want so we just save the drama and wasted funds :).

The only exception ever has been last year for her BDay I did do something special (as a one off, this is not a precedent being set there will be no gift this year lol), she turned 38 so i gave her 38 BDay cards with $50 in each one and $100 in the 18th and 21st (same as we give to the nieces and nephews).

Each card represented 1 year of her life and I got numbered ones where possible. I spent time talking with her mum and sister to be able to put a custom note in each one that held relevance to that year of her life, it was almost like a "this is your life" scenario.

She has some pretty bad childhood memories so I am hoping that I have been able to bring some of the good memories to the front :).

Feel free to steal this idea and give your partner some serious happy tears :).

    Your old romantic bugger :D.

That stunt is OK for you as your missus is 38 and it only cost you $2,000.

My missus is 64 this year. For me to pull your trick, it would set me back $3,300 ;).

I would need to sell an IP to fund that (and now is not the right time).
