What are the ingredients to a good property Portfolio?

    Definitely easier through property investing due to the leverage, once you have the asset base already in place.

    To get that initial asset base up and running, I believe that actively working on increasing income will be much faster than waiting for the market to move, in normal times, not boom times.
    Getting that jump on the exponential curve will cut years, if not decades off your progress.

    Is that in regards to location of ip or buying those specifically? What would infrastructure be buying?

    Also i read somewhere recently that the "wealthy"often have 7 income streams. diversifying you're investments. I'm can't recall where or how accurate that statement is though

    I'm not so convinced by that argument, I prefer the Buffet approach,put all your eggs in 1 basket and watch that basket carefully. I rather be very good at 1 thing than mediocre at 5.

    But i do think diversifying within property itself is very important.
