You clearly aren't in Perth... Krispy Kreme set world records when they finally opened here a year or so ago.
For the amount of toilet paper they made people go through?LOL Love it BIZ !!

I believe that crispy creme opened too many stores too close together tooquickly -(following the usa model)

There's more dough in pizzas than I realised. And still rising.

I doubt the Krispy Kreme's located in western Sydney will be going anywhere. They are packed every night of the week, weekend's its insane.

I think Domino's Pizza has be doing very well for itself lately.

I used to avoid it like the plague and I believe it had a pretty bad reputation for being low quality. I would always prefer Pizza Hut over it. I definitely prefer smaller independent pizza places but I am sometimes in situations where I really want pizza but the other places are not open (such as during the day).

Last year when Halo 5 came out on Xbox One they had this promotion where you could order one of two pizzas from their Pizza Mogul range (where users can design their own pizza and get some kind of profit if others used their referral recipe code thing) and you would get a code for an exclusive in game thing (such as a pizza icon next to your name in multiplayer).

The pizza I had was better than I expected and I have since ordered from them online a few times when they have had specials. I don't think the company is terrible anymore.

I think overall a lot of people still don't trust them for good pizza however.

    Reasons I don't trust them...

Domino’s bitter, very bizarre battle over GPS tracking technology

I prefer the local independent pizza joint, yes I pay more but I get a much better pizza and better service been going to one for nearly 10 years (since I first moved to Melbourne) and will drive 20km (sometimes takes 1 hour) to eat there.

Don't knock the kids...keeps them off the streets and employed. :D

I used to do that back in the mid-70's as a teenager...we had a steel headed rake (to feel and hear the "clunk" of the ball on the steel to locate it/them) and to dig it out with from the mud at the bottom of the hazard. The water was waist deep and murky mostly... most of us were able to fund our golf from those ball collections.

Places like Coolum Hyatt in QLD get 10,000 balls per month from their hazards!! They have professional scuba divers who have an exclusive collection contract with the facility.

    Maybe it's the cost?

All of those joints know how to bend you over for a donut, unless you get the bulk packs of basic cinnamon.

Prefer the jam donuts from the Markets for substance and cost.

I have had the occasional KK, but not for a good while, and from vague memory they were not cheap?

    Tasted terrific though.

Have you got a chart over the same time frame for toilet paper manufacturers?

I think one of the attractions of a franchise is the perception that you can become your own Boss, but in a relatively safe business venture with little risk, and it is "ready to go".

But always read the fine print and limitations to being a boss.

I think dominos is in for a big correction in the value in the near future. Especially in Adelaide anyway.

Not falling over. But fast food business in SA are competing against too many other fast food/cafe/restaurant and the population is not increasing fast enough.

That was meant to be a joke. Falling over like dominoes.

But that is a general phenomenon in fast food ATM. There's a lot more players in a limited market. Some of the traditional players are hurting.

It's hard to tell at the moment as it's just happened and it's school holidays but at our store we've had a lot of people finally upgrade to the $7.95 ones. They are still $5 online so the value is there it's just they need to put in the effort to place the order.
