In the midst of planning reno to a 2 bedder unit IP and part of the reno will see a new kitchen. This means, I'll need an electric oven, electric cooktop, rangehood and dishwasher.

Any recommendations on what to get and also where to source cheap appliances in Sydney?

Thinking of heading to 2nds World or Grays Online to source for those appliances. No brand in mind, but not thinking Smeg, Bosch or Miele types.

I bought a Bunnings cooktop, oven and range. They all work fine, total was about $700 for bottom of the range.

I bought an Aldi dishwasher, NEVER AGAIN! I wouldn't give this dishwasher to my worst enemy.

Appliances online isn't too bad either!

Had a few things from there installed quite cheap, and when they haven't had stock for one thing they've given free upgrades after purchase ;)

Thanks for the feedback, some great options there.

What do people install in their IP for cooktops, oven and dishwashers?

Product selection is based on where the ip is located.

You wouldn't necessarily get any better rent in Dhurruk if you had Miele or Bosch than Chef/Westyhouse/Or no name brands but you'd struggle to achieve a premium rent with the latter in Bronte or Bondi.
