Hi all, I am new to this forum - Thank you all for your valuable inputs.
I have been around and reading and researching Property Investments and Strategies as a guest.
    Found this site very useful.
Any advise for a new newbie who is looking to buy an Investment property in Greater Western Sydney area (in Emerton, Bidwill, Druitt areas...) during these Covid-19 times?
These are the 'cheap suburbs' of Sydney.
Or am I better off postponing my purchase to 2021 or later?
    Thank you in advance.

    Welcome Jenny!

    That's a crystal ball question :)

You buy now, worst case, the property goes down - how will you cope?
You buy later, worst case property goes up and you miss the market - what will you do then?

As long as you have a risk plan and are comfortable with it, you're good to go. :)

As Jess said, please consult your crystal ball. :p

On the serious side, I have several properties in the area, and I'm always on the lookout for buying at the 'right' price.....or selling at the 'right' price. Nobody can say for sure what will happen in the future, I usually just go on my 'gut'.

    Hi Jenny.

    Welcome to the forum.

Why wait until 2021? My advice would be to follow the market very closely, if you have the time go to lots of open homes and auctions, if a great deal pops up then why not grab it?

Consider a subscription to RP Data or Pricefinder, they are the most valuable tools and I couldn't do without them when buying for myself or clients.

    Good luck!

    Hi Jenny,

Those areas are alot cheaper in comparision to Sydney, however the area is alot more rough and have alot of housing commission.

By saying that there's alot of development around the area like Marsden Park.

Is now better to buy or 2021? If we could predict the property market bang on we would be gazzilionaires by now.
