I'm not sure yet. I may be getting locked out of my office so might pull an all nighter there instead of at the club

With Scomo's new speech regarding gatherings of not having anymore than 100 people for indoor gatherings, I'm not sure it's a good idea! I know we never get 100 people, but there is always a lot of people in close proximity.

I did think of that, and expect there will be less people than normal, both in the club for their normal customers, and us too. We'll still be going, but fully understand if you decide not to come. I've told Hubby he better enjoy the meal tonight, because this is the last outing he's having for a while.

The govt has already said that food courts are fine and Wenty's is more of a food court than a restaurant - there's plenty of room to spread out.

Here is the guidance from the Dept of Health: Coronavirus (COVID-19) advice for public gatherings and visits to vulnerable groups

All non-essential indoor gatherings of less than 100 people (including staff) such as cinemas, theatres, restaurants/cafes, pubs, clubs, weddings and funerals should apply social distancing and hygiene practices. This includes:
    • being able to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between people
    • providing hand hygiene products and suitable rubbish bins, with frequent cleaning and waste disposal
This might mean changes are needed to seating or capacity. For example, cinemas and theatres will need to decrease density of patrons, which could include alternate seating, staggered seating and alternatives, except for family or household groups who may be seated together.

Sorry guys, I have decided not to come tonight. I work with very vulnerable people so have decided to skip this one. Was looking forward to it too!

Thanks skater, but sorry I wont be able to make it tonight. I still have lots of overdue reports for work. And I'm bracing for schools and daycares to close at some point, which means even less time to get work done

First time in a long time I've not felt completely wrecked after a Wenty meetup. There's something to be said about leaving at 10pm rather than 2am :p

Pretty sure all these indoor events that you have mentioned will be closed up within the next two weeks.
I have been working remotely for work for a week now. We are a 6 person team that might not see each other for a few months.

Thanks skater, hope to see you and the others at the next one.
Its a shame I couldn't make this one. I expect stricter measures will come in place in the next few weeks, and many more places get shut :-(

Earliest I've left one too. Although a rather small meetup, it was still a good night. Enjoyed seeing you, Jen & Winnie
