    Then there are people...

    "THEY came to western Sydney from the gentrified north shore in search of a better life — and found it."

    Western Sydney continues to surprise me some recent sales..
    This, house + granny flat under contract around 900k.

    Developer are still paying good money for land.. This 1900m2 transacted privately for over $3.2m

    How big was the block with the granny flat?

    Was the latter block zoned for multi unit dwellings?

    I think the interest rates and talk of low rates has returned some confidence.

    Let my hype Blacktown :D.....because I lived there and have vested interest.:p

    Top 10 Sydney suburbs for 2017

    <begin snippet>
    1. Blacktown:Blacktown is a suburb that really started to boom this year, and I anticipate that it will continue well into 2017. More than 4,000 new homes have been approved in the suburb, which is just a 35-minute drive to the Sydney CBD. With the redevelopment of Blacktown Hospital and a grant to kick-start energy projects in the area, Blacktown is a suburb to watch.”
