    Choosing between
    - two bedder townhouse in Flemington
    - three bedder townhouse in West Footscray

    Opinions? Considering same price...?

    Both good options.

Where is the townhouse in West Footscray, north or south of the train line? If north, I'd go for that, if south, I'd prefer the Flemington townhouse. I'm a big fan of West Footscray but most would prefer Flemington. The south section of WF has become a bit overpriced for my liking, there's really nothing going for it except being close to Yarraville/Seddon, whereas the northern section has a life of its own.

The choice would also depend on your investment strategy.

Footscray is gentrifying where Flemington is seen as a better suburb. Not sure about Flemington market, but Footscray property market is hot.

I think both areas have good prospects, why not try and secure a decent investment property in either suburb?

I think overall West Footscray will provide a better capital gain vs flemmington.

I like Flemington myself... love the suburb so much... but then considering the three bedder with same price... hm... Aren't there massive supply going on in Footscray, sunshine area?

Flemington is a better suburb to live in.. But from an investment point of view, Footscray has a lot more upside I think.
