Near the plaza would be my pick. Try to buy away from the bird cage though things are not as bad as they used to be.

I bought pretty close to Watton Street and I must say I'd go there for a snack any day over Werribee Plaza. Depends on your style but Hoppers Crossing doesn't have a proper town like Watton.

Ya went to watton street and there are good choices. But found residential areas within 2 km of pacific werribee had a more residential feeling wider roads etc.

Appears Werribee's consistently hitting $500k now. Who'd have thought eh @sash!

Werribee used to be a dump.

Looks like someone got a bargain. Huge land and easy to get approval for a unit.

    you're lucky
for an average house (not this one) at this land size it should have been sold at least 650k based on what I had estimated 3mths ago
You could easily earn 150k for just one year if market condition stays solvent

You can sleep easy knowing you have made a motzah from day 1. I was about to ring the estate agent to put an offer in but CoreLogic reported it as sold. Fantastic deal mate, unless you're one of the negative nellies in this thread who wouldn't buy in Werribee for less than $100k. LOL

i used to work in Werribee after graduated from uni. So i known abit about this area. Nice little town.

Wife was a bit worry as she heard few negative comments from people we know. LOL. Last Saturday, took her there, seen the town, and she was like: "the local shop is similar to Croydon shopping where we used to live, let go bid hubby"

it was auction, we bid again few people, there were about 5 real bidder.

Very old house, but hopefully we can rent it out while preparing our next move.

@Westie @Connor do you think auction or private sale would achieve the best result if selling in Werribee? I'm sure every agent will have their own idea and method.
