    {Note from mods - thread continued from here: VIC - Werribee Werribee!}

    We have actually invested in the Cornerstone syndicate--would be interested in how people there view the area. The NTA of our investment has risen 60% in the last 18mths

    A "lol" doesn't change the fact that its not me making something up no matter how loud it is.

    Someone else is making it up probably ;)

    I read the news 3 times and still cannot find Werribee name being mentioned. Does it mean I have really bad eyes or you are just trolling here with a special agenda.

    It might be trolling but it is certainly not me doing it. I posted the link to werribee now community page that shared the link on facebook. I am not the one connecting the news to werribee...

    Anyway... you can call it trolling. Its your head ... your sand...

    What everyone should be focused on is the potential of an area. We all know why Werribee's been so popular with investors lately and why the interest will continue.

    People are talking about the affordability and future quality for investment.
    How come some are talking about 2 million dollar zone quality life in a median $450k suburb all of a sudden??

    They are finally starting to arrest the buggers now that the pollies are scared of losing votes. Good to see. Hopefully they deport anyone who isn't a citizen that causes damage to property/people.

    Anyone not born here must be deported if they cause criminal damage to property/people. Two strikes and you're effing out.

    So, any properties coming up that people are looking at? (can provide rental appraisals if so - can never have too much information). Anyone in the commercial space in Werribee? Thinking of broadening my own personal investing that way rather than just residential - anyone have experience with their own investments in commercial?

    I've started pondering commercial too. Although I understand there is a lot more to it than resi, and also potentially a lot more risk. I just get the sense that we are moving into a phase where multiple resi property investments are frowned upon (and therefore penalised), due to the affordability issue in the big cities and the problems for first home buyers. Investing in productive assets, such shares and commercial property, where you aren't competing with someone trying to buy a house to live in, might be a better way forward.
