For us Northerners spring means a big Nooooooooooooooooo!

Start of the buildup (80% humidity at 6 am in the morning)....*sniff*

Here's one from the other day: [IMG]
Lovely evening strolling along the beach then sitting on a coconut tree with me watching the sun set and people watching for the dogs (but they'd much rather be swimming!). They're about to get a haircut as we've had our 3 proper cold days of the year.

Unlike Hammer I love the heat and humidity and can't wait!

Looks great, spring weekend cruises with windows down with no particular destination in mind.

I have rekindled my love of euro V8's with the purchase of an E39 BMW 540i for a weekend cruiser.. took a while but found one in mint condition!

Nice choice Dave. Was an E39 M5 ever a consideration? I think they only came in manual though. ..

Yes but they cost roughly the GDP of a small african nation to maintain, and a good one is still 30k

Checking in from Nelson Bay, NSW.

Spent my birthday up here yesterday. What an awesome day! Sun, beers and good food.

It was short lived though. Rain and bored kids today.

    Cheers

    Jamie

Get them to read lender policy updates and write a 1 page synopsis each?

Technically Spring doesn't start for 3 weeks on Sept 22 and finishes Dec 20.
Pedantic but the calendar definition has always annoyed me.

Never heard that before. Is it the same date each year or is based on the lunar cycle or something?

No it's based on position of sun and earth equinoxes, nothing to do with the moon. Dates usually around 21st but may fluctuate a day or two each year.

In Europe and the USA it is still summer, autumn doesn't start until 22nd. Australia uses calendar dates for quirky historical reasons.
