These weeds are well mixed in with my landscape plants, and their stems are too soft I can't carefully pull them out roots and all - they just break before I can get much roots out. I need a smarter way.

Any suggestions? Can I carefully glyphosate the weed leaves with a spray bottle? I'm scared of killing my plants too though. Any species specific herbicides I can use that won't kill my plants? sorry I don't know the species, but photos are below:

Saturate the soil, use a fork or minin pitch fork and pull them out at root level.
There's usually an underground network which is close to impossible to get. Weeding is just an on-going thing.

As above. You keep fighting them until they are exhausted and can’t regrow.

Dig them out, with a fork etc as described above, then mulch thickly with bark chips to suppress growth.

In sandy soil, it is easier to dig them out without wetting the soil.

If it is something like ivy, where digging won't necessarily work, you could paint on weed killer with a small paintbrush. However, it will kill anything it touches - which might be your plants if the weeds move in the breeze before the weed killer is dry.

You will always have to do some maintenance.
