    It’s the share price (according to Sharesight) at the end of the period, ie 2010.

    As noted by the King, pre split.

    As an accumulator myself, I really love ..love this quote by Dunno:)

    The problem however is how to determine "future cash flows for half the price" . First although we know share price has fallen ..but
    how to ensure the previous high share price is a fair price in the first place..

    Secondly, future cash flows (ie dividends) would also fall ...the % fall may not in tandem with share price % falls though:)

    I would love to hear some vigorous discussion from the wise sages here on how or what simple parameters they would use to determine if indeed it is time to be greedy to accumulate "these cash flows at half the price":D

    Prior to the crash it seemed everyone had a predication about the crash that was just around the corner. Now that the crash has finally come, it seems everyone is coming out of the wood works wanting to be the one who is closest to the mark while making the worst case prediction.

    Yep. And I guess it is a no lose situation for them. Everyone remembers the time someone makes the big call and gets it right. No one seems to remember the many other incorrect calls that came before and after it though.
