It would matter a lot if not making profit. I doubt he would have been selling some of his property if he was making a motsa, he would have kept them for negative gearing and practice what he preaches.

    Exactly.
    Absolutely.

    Assets and Turnover mean nothing.

Net Worth/Equity and Profit are what matters.

Relaxing in tropical qld in the spa with me feet up and not a care in the world is relaxation enough. A bit of gloating doesn't go astray :p

    Sure

But I am referring to posts that are focused on downplaying his success, TPS

There will probably be another 100 posts on the subject :p

His success, or lack thereof, is something we will never really know. Sure, he has Business & Assets, but we don't know the extent, nor do we know the levels of debt or income from them and his personal expenditure.

Besides, everyone has a different understanding of 'success'. To the man in the street, it may be as simple as paying off their PPOR, to someone else, it could be $100m in unencumbered assets.

When I vowed to run my own race over 10 years ago it was liberating. Couldn't care less how financially successful or not others may be. I'm only concerned with my own goals and progress.

I am though always interested in folks who seem to be genuinely happy and content and try and take away a piece of wisdom they may have to offer.
