    Hi All

What rooms require waterproofing in a house? Is it just the bathroom? Or do you need to waterproof the kitchen, laundry, toilet rooms as well?

Behind the shower tiles is really all it needs, main area of water contact to wall/floor.

^^ Be very careful listening to unqualified advice.

    In layman's language:

    • Shower walls to 2m
    • Shower tray
    • All bath construction
    • Perimeter of bathroom, toilet, laundry
    • First level decks, and subsequent decks
    • First level and subsequent level bathroom and toilet floors in full.

It is very costly to repair if you get it wrong the first time.
