    Hello everyone,

I was recently contacted by the PM that shower is leaking (water appearing in the hallway) in my IP.

The first plumber who conducted a dye test wasn’t able to repair this advising the shower needs a full membrane repair.

Please recommend someone who can waterproof my bathroom. If you have used his services, how good was he and how much did it cost you?

P.S. is waterproofing my only option? I heard about epoxy resin that seal shower (no need for ripping up tiles) - how effective that would be?

    Cheers

Anything less than ripping out the tiles and replacing the waterproofing membrane is only a short term bandaid solution that will likely leak again in 6 months to 2 years.

There are lots of waterproofing companies out there. You can DIY (although personally I wouldn't) using products from Bunnings.
