    It would cost less then 80bucks for the callout fee for a lic plumber,then maybe half an hour for her or him to pressure test the entire system,that way you know upfront where you stand,that would have been my first come back,as for the "you are overthinking the situation",i will not say what needs to be said to someone like that ..
