Record set as five-bedroom Mount Druitt house plus furniture sells for $1.2 million

Now this is taking the p^iss watch the moans when the market tanks when idiots like this overpaid and over capitalised.......who the hell pay 1.2m in the Druie.....you have got to be kidding...there are plenty of places closer in which I can think of...which are much nicer...

This sort of behavior reminds me of what happened last cycle..and what happened in Perth ...interesting times indeed...

Give it a year...and they won't be able to sell it for another 10-12 years.....at that price.......if they ever default they are screwed.

Did you know for $1.2 you can buy houses in shire in much better locations? Even in some parts St George....

Vendors could have sold it for $1.4 a year ago - hung on to it a bit too long ;)

I had to read the article twice. Best street in mount druitt and close to station, shopping centre and tafe. This price won't beaten for another 10 years saith the agent. Wow.

With fhb market it had a little room to move the unknown is the baby boomer retirement market.

They tend to be cashed up so less impact from interest rates and bank policies

and a granny flat too at the back... have a look at how much house + granny flats are going for in the area and surroundings. This was just a tad bit higher because of newer build.

Quite true. Electric gate that acts as electric fence to ward off intruders. no mention of lockup shutters though.
