@Roger do you think this is a good thing for property values if it's purely an investment property near there?

    Two things to add.

    1. A shame that piece of land is being developed. A place I visit when working that area and marvel at the open space and nature amidst the brick and tile metropolis.

    2. Advice from someone in the "field" pun intended, if you build anywhere in that area ensure you have adequate home security. anywhere in that area esp around the railway is burglary central. Certain types access the railway for free of course, smash the locals and either hop back on board and head south or they have your car and head south.

“I always pass on good advice. It is the only thing to do with it. It is never of any use to oneself.”

Just out of interest does any Runcorn locals or Brissy specialists on here know who owns that large block of land at 74 Daw road or Demigre Street Runcorn? Its a massive block with two houses on it by the look of it sitting amongst lots of development subdivisions all around it. Ive got friends i visit up that way and i always wonder who owns it and what its story is....jeez it must be worth a bomb.

Just wanted to clarify, when you refer to Beenleigh, you're referring to Beenleigh Road?

Just wondering why North of Beenleigh Road is more desirable - is that because it's closer to Eight Mile Plains/ sunnybank? Is being close to the train station important too?

    any updates on this one?

Shame about the mosque, I live a few hundred metres away and am disappointed. There's already mosque's/churches/temples about 1km away.

First I heard about it was from a neighbour when it was already approved, surprised i didn't hear anything more.
