    But who wanted land at Northmead ? Its like saying Wilberforce. 13 acres would be farm land. The site of present day Winson Hills. At that time farming and quarries. Nowhere near transport except (Old) Windsor Rd some distance away.

    Or a distant place like Balgowlah or Elanora Hts which was far from anything. Cheap. But too rocky.
