    hi folks

I'm hoping there's someone here that can suggest a good colour scheme for internal walls for a Hamptons style home.

The house is being built at the moment and I need to lock down the paint selections. The current door and frame colour selection is Wattyl White and the prestart consultant suggested Solver Earth Child at 50% for the internal walls. I'm not convinced about having a grey tone and was wondering if anyone here could recommend something.

    Cheers
    Stumpie

I wouldn't ever go with a grey tone of any description for internal walls even if it is a very pale grey. Depressing.

If you don't know what's going to fit, go with Antique White. It goes with everything. It's essentially a creamy off-white shade. The pigments used are ochre and a touch of red.

We used Casper White. In natural light it looks quite white. Under shadow it takes on a grey tone .

I use Dulux Brume at 50% which is a greige (grey beige or warm grey if you want to call it that)

It's a chameleon colour which looks different in different light and goes with cool or warm coloured furniture.

This is my office where I have it 100% as I wanted a darker tone. The trim is Dulux Lexicon 25% strength

    Get a dulux colour consultant.
    Best $200 you'll spend.
(I did that and ended up with colours that @Westminster suggested anyway :D).
    Still best $200 i spent :D

You need to upgrade your office chair for your long term benefit.
Unless of course you are playing old school arcade games.:)

Absolutely. We had just moved in when that photo was taken. My office now has a real chair and a very very lived in look :p

I thought I'd put up another photo of Dulux Brume 50% tint. This was at a client project and you can see that it blends well with both warm and cool items

It really depends whether you wish to go for warm or cool feel whether throughout or a theme for each room, what furnishings you will add, sometimes the overall concept is good to know how you will go?
I really enjoyed Sarah Richardson's building their 'House Of The Grid' in such a style and really loved her design and attention to detail! If you haven't watched her episodes then check out her gallery just for this house. I loved her warm with soft cool colour palette and undertones of blue!
Perhaps you can be inspired too, check it out?
