    Received this from Airbnb

Come along to launch the next phase of the campaign to defend home sharing in Western Australia as we release our first campaign videos featuring local Western Australian hosts sharing their views on the need for fair home sharing rules.

We know powerful vested interests want to burden local hosts with extreme red tape, like costly registration, and restrict people’s choice. The Australian Hotels Association WA even wants to rob some locals of their choice to share completely with blanket bans.

That’s why our community is coming together to have their voices heard loud and clear by politicians. Airbnb hosts are calling for fair rules which would protect locals’ choice to responsibly share their holiday or holiday how they want, while managing community concerns.

    Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
    Date: Tuesday 14th May 2019
    Where: TBC

To reserve your spot, simply RSVP on this invitation. If prompted, the passcode to register is “AIRBNB2019”.

EDIT: apologies, looks like targeted to specific Airbnb users.

Tried to sign up but it says only guests who have been invited can go?

hmm, wasn't sure if that was going to be the case, everything looked generic.
But I guess there's something linked to the account email.

Wanna bring me as your guest? Haha

Ironically, I might be one of the more 'useful' attendees there given my legal background and specific experience in tenancy, strata and planning law areas.

Depends what they're wanting to do I suppose.
