To the experienced investor, I am currently planning to develop a block to build 2 townhouses (front and back). It is in east side of Melbourne (manningham district). Will you recommend going with volumn builder due to potential savings or custom builders because of flexibility? Any recommendations will be welcome. Looking to build 2 4x3 double storey townhouses.
I'll answer based on two assumptions; that by nature townhouses are likely to be bespoke and knowing the area (Manningham) site is unlikely to be flat? If the answer to both is yes, a builder experienced in townhouse development would be better than your volume builder....IMO & exp.
