Thoughts? Looking for a relatively cheap option with decent yield...

    Hi Moist,
    Hope you are well?

I am from Melbourne and I know these three areas quiet well. Sunshine West would be my pick number one. I am a big fan of Melbournes West and we are going to see allot of investment being allocated into the area from both local and state level.

Sunshine West has some really good pockets and some really bad pockets so if you need a hand just let me know.

Broadmeadows seems to be on the rise as well :)

Just purchased a place in Newcomb. It's only a short distance to super expensive houses in Geelong. Near the hospital, near the beach etc.

From my place to where u can swim is 3min away.

3 mins away from the beach on the other side would be massive dollars

Sunshine west. Much more money has been spent on infastructure in the last few years in Footscray etc.

I was looking to buy in sun west 6 years ago. Have seen some good growth since then even in the bad parts.

Sunshine proper is getting some silly prices ATM so this has flow on effect to sun west.

They doing anything with the old Cheetham salt pans/lakes yet? Was looking at this area a number of years ago, always thought it had potential when they worked out what to do with cleaning up that area.

Why limit yourself to these three areas? You may also wish to consider surrounding suburbs such as Glenroy or Albion.

Can only hope, lots of plans, and given developments around Werribee, it will only be a matter of time

I suppose I meant those areas as well, just that Broadmeadows and Sunshine west have a lower median I believe.

What sort of yield are you getting Jetstream? Any problems with vacancy around there?

    Hi Bernardblack,

I do not mind sharing at all... but before I send you a map what type of properties are you looking for?
