Vic - Electrician Charges

    I'm in Victoria, just had an electrician done some work.
    Is it normal for them to charge you extra to provide a safety certificate?

    Also charged me 1.5 hours work.
    My tenant told me it took them less than 30 mins.

    Yes, I believe they can forward the costs to lodge and can put an admin fee on top , from following electrician group seems like $10-40 is common (I'm not from Victoria and just repeating what I've read elsewhere)
    The electrician may have only been on site for 30mins but what about the drive to the job? Drive to a wholesaler? Time doing paperwork?
