Dear all, Have found, because the legal process is different in other states, that many VIC conveyancers charge contract review fees (i.e. a fee to look over the contract and answer any questions you may have on it before you even make an offer). Does/can anyone recommend a VIC conveyancer who doesn't charge a fee, my conveyancers in other states don't. Thank you.
Generally, they set their prices something like this: $700 + $100 - $150 per contract review $1000 including 2-3 contract reviews then $100 - $150 on top $1200+ including unlimited contract reviews I send all my clients to Nick Carstine, CAC Legal, (03) 9039 6567, [email protected]. He is on the cheaper side, but still does a good job and is a lawyer, not just a conveyancer so if it goes badly he can help.
