    Hi all,

Have no idea what to do in this situation and new this is the best place to ask you guys with lots of experience.

We purchased land back in 2009, it had a vegetation covenant across it that was placed on the land during a reconfiguration of lot.

The block also had a large original shed on It. This shed was on the block before the reconfiguration took place and the vegetation covenant was placed on land after according to info we can find.

We decided to see if we can turn the shed into a secondary dwelling, shed not approved but was not going to be a big drama according to the Certifier to get it approved except for........we now have realised that a small section of shed is within the vegetation covenant.

Other than council requesting us to remove this part of the shed what other options do we have? We really want to keep shed as it’s a great size and in great condition.

Can vegetation covenants be changed at all?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks Charli
