With all this interest rate talk/change and some fixed mortgages coming closed to term, I'm interested in what others are negotiating?

( Before all the brokers jump in. Yes there are other important factors but question here is rate. )

    Bank Total lending PPOR(IO) PPOR(PI) Investment(IO) Investment(PI) Package
    WBC 2.5+M 4.77% - 5.04% - yes

I don't think so, I am not a medical professional. It was through a broker, Clear Path product.

the fixed rate spread with many lenders on IO investment debt to PI investment loans is now marginal, and in some cases nil

Im suggesting, that if one looks around at funding options, IO rates arent much bigger than PI rates, and in some cases the same

Believe the SVR (Standard Variable Rate) for NAB is 5.36%. Anyone getting a discount off the SVR approaching 2%?

I think 1.5% is (reasonably) easy to get but any more than that is well, a little more difficult.

Tx. Will keep that in mind. Another rate reduction and I 'could' be paying less than 3.5%....if I can get a 1.7 reduction that is.
