    This makes sense. Single family homes usually:

    - suffer lower vacancy than condo buildings (if bought well in high demand locations)
    - generally are actually less maintenance than condo/apartment blocks (No lifts, often no pools, no expansive common areas, no full timer concierge)
    - easier to value-add later via reno or extension or sometimes subdivision
    - if bought well, can still offer exceptional yields in many locations

    No wonder the big funds are flocking to them.
