    What I always planned to do when I got to that level of wealth;

    1. Buy the dream home
    2. Buy a really decent serious sized boat and birth at Martha Cove marina...travel to various locations where the sun shines and the beaches are terrific.
    3. Buy a couple of decent but not over-the top cars.
    4. Buy a unit up at Mt.Buller.
    5. Put half of the rest into various properties and only live off the rents.
    6. Build some free retirement/ nursing homes for seniors not able to afford care in the final years
    7. Set up Foundations with the rest for Homeless Youth, Domestic Violence victims,
    8. Live a really active life.

There is no doubt in my mind that in the hypothetical scenario that I ever had that kind of money, I would do something beyond pure business and money making. Not saying i wouldn't invest to generate more, but I think I would be more inclined to do something more to help others.
We spend all this time and effort to be more knowledgeable to be more effective as investors to make money so one day we could perhaps retire and enjoy retirement also doing our best to enjoy our journey until we get there. But with that amount of money, I'm sure that we are assured a life free of any concerns about having 'enough' (money) to have a good life.

So with that out of the way, my question to myself would be 'how can my wealth help others less fortunate?'

1.Set up educational centres for money management in all capital cities (free)

    2. Get involved on a national level with the education system to introduce money management into the curriculum throughout schools across Australia. Push for a compulsory element of it to the Board of Education to educate students perhaps from Year 7 onwards. Teaching the importance of money management and why it can improve your chances of a greater future.

I think that level of money stretches your ability to even think of what to do, $70 million I have my imaginary plan ready to go. $900 million however, and I have no idea. That's a level where even if you ****** 99% of it away somehow, you'd still have $9 million!.

‘Shambles’: When lotto riches ruin your life

    interesting article,

not knowing anyone around me who has come into a lot of money suddenly,

frankly, to even be able to blow that amount of money, I have absolutely no sympathy for.

I think its more of an acheivement to be in a position to be even be back on the dole after 10 years, especially since they are means tested

Therein lies the theory that if all the money was spread evenly among the populace, eventually the distribution would end up back where we started.

    lottoland.com.au

$14 for the cheapest ticket I think

-Build a few Ronald McDonald houses for sick kids at Westmead children's hospital

    - help get homeless people and especially youth off the streets and help them get back on their feet.

    - go on long holidays around the world in between building my dream home on a fair few acres and building the places for the kids.

    According to Google:

$1,860,000,000 US Dollar equals $2,652,028,250.40 Australian Dollars

So that's why its not available in SA JC, because we could buy out the whole market with that ;)
