Jokes aside I don't think anything like that's gonna happen. However, I think you MAY see emigration by minorities from some of the Midwestern/Southern States to the liberal States.

I have never cared before who won the US election. I am finding it gripping this time because I can't stand either candidate. I find them both unlikeable, obnoxious and more than a little scary. I can't conceptualise either one being President. So I am watching on in horror as either one candidate or the other creeps closer to victory. The funny thing is that I can't name a single policy for either side.

    Update: 215 (Clinton) : 244 (Trump)
    US Senate: 47 (Democrats) : 49 (Republicans)
    US House: 167 (Democrats) : 226 (Republicans)
    Republicans won the US House

I wonder how many of the Republicans support Trump?

What if Republicans win the House and the Senate but Clinton becomes President?

    Interesting times.

Holey Moley... if google is correct:-

Trump: 264 (6 needed to win)
US Sentate: 49 seats (2 needed to win)
US House: Republicans won the US House

I should have bet on the trifecta! :)

I was listening to an American commentator (in America), today on the radio, saying a lot of Republicans on the street are saying on record that they are undecided - but as soon as the recording stops, they admit they will vote for Trump because they have been lifelong Republicans and can't bring themselves to vote for Hillary. Closet Trump voters ...

Sorry, I meant in the House and Senate. Hypothetically if Republicans took the House, Senate and Presidency, I wonder how many Republican Representatives and Senators support Trump. For example, if Trump proposed some controversial legislation, it could very well be voted down if he can't muster up enough support within his own ranks.

Many Republicans would question whether Trump is a Republican. Though now that he's president many who did not support him will support him now.

Just watch for his wrath on those who did not support him.

    Mine too.

Google has now given Tump the Presidency and both houses to Republicans.

    Trump 276 (270 to win)
Senate: Republicans 51 (51 to win)
House: Republicans 234 (218 to win)

    I'm in shock!

    schadenfreude

    noun
    noun: Schadenfreude; noun: schadenfreude
    1. pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.

I guess Trump supporters aren't squirming.

    According to Google:-

Donald Trump won the presidency (276 vs 218)
Republicans won the US Senate (51 vs 47)
Republicans won the US House (234 vs 179)

I won't ask if you are squirming because I don't derive pleasure from someone else's misfortune.

He actually sounded quite conciliatory in his victory speech. Not a mention of "lock her up". Not yet.

He knew what he was doing from the beginning imo . Make America great again. It's a 'movement'. Drain the swamp. etc etc. Doesn't matter whether you love him or hate him. Respect from me that he pulled it off in the face of almost everyone being against him .
