US Economy and infrastructure boom and Australia

    I have seen some really positive news about the US economy lately, here are some of the important ones:

    1. 4.1% unemployment, lowest post gfc
    2. National median house prices up 6% last year
    3. Major infrastructure upgrade policies.

    I think the effects of this for the Australian economy are higher interest rates, more foreign investors from the US, better commodity prices and more tourists. Those are just my logical guesses without being backed up by anything. Please share your thoughts about this, would be even better if they are backed up by experience and evidence.
