Sorry for a novice question, all 4 stumps at our front yard are leaning to the right side by 2%, what we should do?

Much appreicated for any advice and thoughts.

    Some mates told me:
An hours work for any handyman. Approx $80-$100. Undo those bolts and add a few washers on the inside of the bracket. Use a spirit level when you re-assemble to make sure it is plumb.

    Are they right?

Are you sure that the house isn't on a slope?

Just spend 18 bucks on a can of lanolin and spray all the gal bolts brackets and it will still be 2 percent in ten years time..imho...

Ensure the peak and majority of the helmet are to the left side of your head.....
That way the entire world will look level :p

In all seriousness, 1-2 degree is nothing in the scheem of things !
Every likelyhood that at least 2 internal walls are out by 1° !
Sure if it was 10-15 degree one would be looking for what was causing the problem.
But in this case it was either a lazy builder when placing the post and stirrup, or it was knocked during the concreting of the veranda, absolutely NOTHING to worry about ;)
Each post is still load bearing and there is no concern here (apart from the comments)

Not sure why this is suddenly of a concern, but have a beer, chardonnay or a @datto special and this issue will soon give way to politics, religion or "who took my drink" sort of discussion :D

Just to distract you, maybe it's termites

*NOTE: @Scott No Mates @datto @henry_ip @bmc & @Optimus are all on the level
*Most of the time, occasionally, well ummmm (I'm not qualified to have an opinion o_O)
Is it friday arvo yet ?

Victoria Standards and Tolerances (2015 ed) which governs what's acceptable on new builds says:

Verticality or plumbness of stumps or piles
Stumps or piles are defective if they deviate from vertical by more than:
    a) 10 mm for stumps or piles up to 1 m in height
    b) L/100 for stumps or piles up to 2 m in height
    c) 20 mm for stumps or piles greater than 2 m in height.

so you may be outside these limits, but I'd agree with the comments above, nothing to worry about unless something else is going on

Photo 1 and 2 is very telling looks lights a slightly larger size stirrup has been used and the post now tilts slightly due to either the stirrup size or placement in the concrete compared to where it is fastened at the top

I wouldn’t do anything. Stop looking for things to stress and concern about

This is a column, it's vertical and ever so slightly out of plumb. The tops of the column are still over the bases, not even out by ¼ thickness of the column (ie well within the centroid).

Something funky is going on there for sure, owner builder I bet. Columns look fairly parallel to the home

The tinnies came out before the job was complete. Never pay your mates before the work is finished.

Didn't you get a building inspection done?
Usually in the conclusion of the report they tell you about any moderate to major issues.
    Were there any of those?

A few pot plants placed around those columns will draw attention away from the oversized stirrups.

We feel very sad that the inspector just left a one sentence comment in regard to the leaning posts:

    - Verandah
    Overall Condition
Though we are not structural engineers the veranda/s appear to be in a serviceable condition
