    Hi

I am in the final process of purchasing a 2 bedroom house in Melbourne at a fairly good price

It has room to extend and I would like to know of people's experience and rough cost of adding a bedroom extension.

It is a brick veneer, wanting to add 3x3 bedroom and wardrobes.
I have seen rough quotes of anywhere from $40000 to $100000.

I would appreciate any feedback at all thanks

Another option would be to convert the sizable laundry to a bedroom. Again if you have any experience or rough costs of doing so would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,

No experience of this exactly. Have you checked archicentre online? Also, are you getting a building inspection? I have asked the inspector this kind of stuff and been given good information. Also, check with the council to see if there are any hoops you have to jump...
