    How do I unsubscribe from email alerts? I have unchecked every box on the Alert Preferences page and still, I get summaries I don't want. Most annoying.

    "Alerts" are these things in the top right corner:

    There are other settings which affect emails we send you.

    There are various email notification options for watched threads ... plus the weekly email digest option - set that to "None" to stop receiving the weekly emails.
