Thanks Jen,Teg and Cal. To be honest I cant remember the exact amount (lazy to find the spreadsheet) but I know it cost around 25k including all appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, range hood, microwave,).

Cal are you looking at doing a total unit reno or just a kitchen? for IP or PPOR?

    Thanks Leo, 25K sounds good!

we are looking at doing a kitchen and two bathrooms for one of our IP's... They are very aged and need a complete overhaul and we are finding it hard to get easy price estimates

    Hi @cal,

If it is just your everyday, run of the mil IP and not in a million or multimillion dollar area, I would be just getting the basic flat pack kitchen and basic bathroom done. No expensive tiles, finishes, etc. Just the basic, functional stuff mate.

Great work you must be pleased. I love the marble splash back look just did the same on one of my IPs. Heaps cheaper than glass splashback and looks a million bucks!!

Thanks RenoCrazy. Yeah we are quite happy with it. We were actually going to go a completely different splashback but we realised that after doing the bathroom we had the nice Italian tiles left over, enough for the splashback so we just went for it! turned out not too bad after all :).

Nice work @Leo2413 what made you decide to remove bath. Is it because of younger demographics? I personally don't use bath but we kept the bath for PPOR when re Reno last year.

Thanks Larry. We removed it to put a more luxurious shower in place and make the most of a small sized unit bathroom. This was based on research of sales history with similar style to what we had planned which achieved great sales prices. Taking away the bath to open up the space didn't seem to detract from the amenity or top sale prices.

Looks good. I like the cute dishwasher. Nice space saver. I haven't seen them before.
