    $1200!!! Should have gone to Maccas :) hope the deal went well. I have a mate whose mum is an auditor for the ato I always ask her questions and she is happy to answer. i'll send her a message and pm when she gets back to me. I doubt you would be able to without a receipt/invoice.

    I know you can't (seeing if there is an alternative) and dark knight no keep the auditor away please! - yes I would prefer maccas, however business is done differently over here.

    There are a couple of ways to do it. But if you dont want dark knight's auditor friend knowing about it, then you definately won't want the Commissioner knowing about it. You will need to declare that the recipe was lost or destroyed. Proving to the Commissioner that you took all reasonable care to prevent them from being lost or destroyed. It gets quite complex from here. The potential professional fees to send the letters etc will most probably render this action useless. Just let it go....

    Just my understanding of it...nothing more. :)
