Hi anyone had experience with refinancing existing UK property loan (taken out when living there) held by Aus resident?

I know it’s gotten harder in recent years, but also believe there may be some non-traditional opens still open.

LVR is only 40%, but current lender will only offer SVR of 5.25%

Did one of mine in 2020 via my broker. Loan is with Keystone.

    25% deposit, 3.59% fixed for 5 years.

Used equity to upgrade Sydney PPOR. In hindsight, what a wonderful move.

Thanks, HSBC looks interesting. Only concern would be whether you need to move your transactional accounts to them?

There’s better than HSBC. Most Ex Pat lenders will only deal with an intermediary. Approach a broker would be my advice.
