Serious answer to the question, in the last 25 years the answer would be no.
    Same for a budget surplus...:D
You have to go back to the 80s.

I love how the Chicken Littles come out to claim the sky is falling.

Housing won't collapse if negative gearing is removed.

We never get to vote for the leader, that has always been the party doing that. Can't let that change a decision on the overall IMO

He was their leader. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have voted for them and I'm not going to in the future. Sacking him was irrational if not stupid. They have lost a lot of votes, not only mine.

    Chicken little... LOL

I will tell you, I have no degree in economics, but only a fool or the ignorant will think less activity = a better economy, which everyone benefits from, well almost everyone.

    That is my humble opinion.

I have been on all ends of the spectrum as well, and you see, my argument only has to have a small pull back to be right, and on top of other recent changes that are yet to all fully roll out the effects....as said, idiotic.

    Yes, picked by the party.

The reality won't change what can happen in the future, also you could vote for Shorten and he too will be walking a tightrope, no ?

Yes I agree. But this time I'm not voting for, I'm voting against.

Fair enough, it is your vote.

You may not change your mind, but I would only add that I suggest voting what will work out best for the overall population if there is any change in your mind :)

    Yep, sky-is-falling attitude.

People bought houses before negative gearing and they'll continue to do so once it's gone.

The economy will do just fine without it. The government will do even better when it no longer has to spend billions subsidising gamblers.

The only ones who are concerned are those carrying too much debt or those who got themselves in a ridiculous ****** deal that they know they shouldn't have been involved in to begin with.

You see the same polls saying Malcolm is far ahead as preferred PM right?

Majority cannot be right all the time, sometimes it makes mistakes. This is one of them.
