Hi I'm looking at buying an investment property in Turkey Beach. Has anybody looked at investment in this area? Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers Dec.
i think 200 is way too small a population would be expensive to get repairs done as well taking emotion out of it , gladstone would be a much better proposition or if your set on the coast then look at agnes waters 1770
Thanks for all the replies, I am looking at Agnes waters. I do like this area and would be with a view to retirement there.
I have a mate that's been sitting on above 500 beachfront acrea land at baffle creek for 35 years ,and all it will take is once they open up one road that he has an interest in and link up 1770 but it may never happen..Turkey Beach when most of the area has lost 50 percent in the value range..Plus the way the build up is starting weather wise as it's in cyclone alley ..Do your home work.imho..
Have you spent any time in this area? At dusk, the midges will carry you away! It is based around a mangrove swamp area. Be careful.
It may never happen in his life-time because the sale agent told his Wife and my mate 35 years ago that road was before the local council and the insiders within the council said it was only a matter of years ,well over 35 YEARS so far..Plus that area at sunrise and sunset the insects will cover your entire body as they like blood.. The road that maybe will link 1770- Baffle Creek is partly through the National Park so good luck with that one.. Matchbox rd, and it;s called Matchbox for a simple reason, why build when you can burn someone.. '''IMHO''..
