I'm doing some maintenance on my properties before the summer gets into full swing and just got a quote on getting 3 giant gumtrees cut to ground level with all the trees removed.

$4400 inc GST, not bad considering it overhangs the shed out back.

I'll pass on the dudes details once the job is done.

That's a very good price. I had two massive ones done last year, needed a cherry picker to get them down. Cost me $5,000 inc GST.

    Cheers,

Keen to grab the details after the job is done. I'm looking at getting a couple of small palm trees removed in the Logan area.

What is a common reason for tree removal, or is it common? I have 4 properties and never had a tree problem

Normally when a tree grows too large and gets close to the house. You have leaves in your gutters, roots cracking concrete etc.

    Can become a maintenance hassle.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't know anyone had had a look at the post.
    the details are T and M Tree Services Ph: 0438 055 065

The reason I'm getting this one done is because there is a drought coming and gumtrees drop branches when they get thirsty. Logan gets some pretty big storms during summer as well and I don't want my shed or house getting crumped.

I had a jaccaranda cut down 2 years ago because the neighbours and I both had a gut full of the flowers and leaves dropping all over the paths and gutters. It also gave me side access to the back yard once it was cut out.
