Tree limb removal

Hi all a large tree limb seems to have made its way onto the garage of my up. The PM has been quoted $1100 for removal, this seems a little steep. I had similar work done in my ppor last year and think it was around half of this.

Anyone got any experience and had this kind of work done recently. The property is in Geelong.

Seems a little high, call up a few locals and get a price. Send them the pics you have.

Is that tree on your block or your neighbours?
I'll do it for 800 if you can't find cheaper

 

Local handyman or lawn guy should be able to quote that and I would think apart from small labour and tipping its not a major job. Its not a large and heavy "limb". A few hundred?

 

A slab of beer & a chainsaw (not in that order).

 

Got another quote back for $250, what a massive difference. Makes me wonder if the property manager was mates with original company.
