    Hi ,

With the current rainfall , does it have an impact on timber frames being left outside ?

Has anyone ever experienced a lot of rain during a build while at the frame stage ?

If so , how long and what were impacts ?

What if it keep raining for another 2 months with no work and the timber is compromised, does the builder order new frames ?

    Thanks

A few months is generally fine.. it happens all the time in Brisbane with builders taking a break over Christmas.. and this coincides with torrential rain.

here is a bit of a guide. Leaving frames exposed to the weather

Covering wet timber with a tarp may slow down the drying, cause mould & warping - best to prevent them getting wet IE keep them off the ground, covered & dry.
