people who complain probably dont have a well paid public servant position, they probably have to worry about a mortgage, yes that little chestnut

Its certainly not what medical experts are saying. We have no coronavirus cases in WA

His polls were brilliant at the beginning and I had respect for him but not anymore, his lost the plot, what sometimes happens to young ambitious politicians

All this.......While he allowed billionaire Kerry Stokes to enter WA from a his return holiday in US ......no quarantine ...... and while he allowed not one but two protests No fines. While he did not allow Clive Palmer in WA who has million dollar mining contracts And business in WA, yet gave Stokes a free card

    His losing credibility very fast.....

His hurting alot of hard working People Who just want to get on with life and hopefully pick up the pieces. There is no sound medical grounds to leave the borders closed

    Very.

The youngest turned 6 earlier this month and struggled to deal with the fact that daddy could not be there.

I cannot fathom why anyone would consider venturing overseas when it is painfully obvious that this pandemic is on the rise in so many countries.

There are many risks and many levels within each risk. However, there is one risk, although difficult to quantify, which should not be underestimated and that is the level of dumb@$*@ery displayed by many.

I will tell you whats really dumb .......Premiers allowing protestors to run a muck and no fines.

International travel bans are still in place. I cant see too many people interested in travelling aboard. Especially those who have no jobs

My personal thoughts are that the travel bans will be in place for a lot longer than many first envisaged. Playing "Russian roulette" with one's health doesn't lend itself to a relaxed holiday.

So we shut down the country and keep borders closed until we have a vaccine??? This is the only way to eliminate all risk?

If thats 18 months away I wonder how this will play out in Australia

its costing Australia $84 million per day and 5000 jobs per week.

BTW we have reached a milestone no deaths from covid for 1 month now

Work and business is a totally different kettle of fish.

Uni Canberra and ANU will be looking at shipping students in from overseas, and paying for the quarantine accommo under a new plan announced by the PM last week.

Anyone think the cruise industry is done and dusted? I think all but a few players will be able to remain.

Im fairly young (37) and reluctantly cruised 3 years ago as my wife wanted to try something different. Turned out to be the best holiday we have ever had. Now admittedly at the time we didn’t have children and the holiday consisted of drinking by the pool and bars and beautiful beaches every day with about 20 fantastic people we met.

But that said, as much as we loved it. I won’t be getting back on one for as long as I can see. The risk of outbreaks and the stuck at sea simply is too great a risk and I’m fairly risk tolerant. Would hate to think would elderly people who cruises mostly target think.

Might be able to pick me up a cruise liner for cheap soon :p

I book my cruises two years out so am booked for 2021 and 2022. Both Australia-only so I'm still hoping they happen and if they do, I'll be aboard. Sadly though I don't know when I'll be able to go back to see family in UK (I should be there now).

Yes, 2021 is Fremantle-Sydney, so on current form I wouldn't get into WA!
