Anyone paying attention to this Corona mess??
Looks like July....
All European borders to be open before July 1 (some open already). All quarantine requirements cancelled. Spain completely open for tourism July 1.
Airlines could be a problem, spacing with empty seats unprofitable they say, so maybe ticket prices will be higher to compensate. My holiday tenants usually drive though from France, Germany, Netherlands so could be hope yet for the season.
personally, if there are no tenants I'll be hanging out at the Costa Brava in my house for most of the summer, not too bad.
Qantas did a backflip, were going to leave middle seats vacant, now not the case. Clearly a financial decision
In July I can travel to NZ, shame I cant travel to Melb
We can’t travel more than 150km from our home, so talk of international travel seems a bit “pie in the sky”!
We were looking at going to Margaret River, SW winery region WA this w/end, but most wineries apparently need to book, and very busy
So its still not travel friendly, giving it a miss now, wait till things go back to normal
18 new cases overnight in Vic, 21 the day before.
Plenty of scope to export.....
No one is coming to Qld ever again
Where are we now w international? I find it incomprehensible they allowed mass protest gatherings yet we can't get on a plane... also, much of Europe has opened its doors to kick start their economies and the job report today was staggering, seems the only person that wants to get things moving is the prime minister but everyone else is fearful and sheepish
Dont get me started. WA premier won lemon of the year. Wont even listen to our top medical expert, too busy focusing on votes
I couldnt care less about interstate borders, but im glad international borders are still closed
Clive Palmer his trying so hard to get into WA
Please, take him.
You can have him!
Did I give the impression I wanted him... .... his a keeper in QLD
In a mass gathering, people are in contact for a couple of hours at most, and not close and personal contact for many hours such as in a plane flight. Plus, there aren't a lot of countries which have a low incidence of covid-19.
Whilst normally a Liberal voter I am 100% in favour of the current WA premier in keeping the borders closed until conditions are safe. I also feel many are too quick to rush back to normality forgetting that the consequences of a second wave are a double whammy.
The people that complain the most are those most likely to also not have downloaded the CovidSafe App for Contact tracing.
If the majority of people had of downloaded the app, I'm sure our borders would have already been opened.
